Dear Participants,
We would like to express our gratitude for your participation in the 1st International Halal
Accreditation Congress. In order to provide flexibility in oral presentation formats, 3 (three)
different options are available for presenting at the congress. These options allow participants
to attend the congress in person, join online, or submit pre-recorded presentations. Below, each
presentation method and its associated guidelines are outlined.
- Abstracts must be prepared using the provided templates and submitted through the Paper Tracking
System, which can be accessed via the "Submit Paper" section.
- Abstracts must be uploaded to the System as Word files, and the file name of the abstracts must
be in the format "abstract title_v1.docx" (where "abstract title" will be replaced by the actual
title of the author's study). In case revision is requested, the revised versions should be
submitted in the format "abstract title_v2.docx" (with the version number increasing with each
revision).
- The author's name, surname, or other personal information should not be included in the text of
the paper uploaded to the system. In cases where the author information is embedded through the
Word file’s “Info” section, added comments, or the use of tools such as “Track Changes,” these
author information will be automatically removed by the system, and the file will transmitted to
the reviewer in an anonymized form. Every stage of the submitted papers and the evaluation
results can be viewed through the Paper Tracking System.
- Participants whose abstracts are accepted after a double-blind peer review process and who wish
to present an oral presentation shall upload their full papers to the system within the
specified
dates.
- Authors of full papers deemed suitable after the peer review process will be sent a full paper
template containing personal information, and they will be asked to provide the necessary
details..
1. In-Person Presentation (Physical Attendance)
Participants whose
abstracts/full papers are accepted and who attend the congress in person will present their work
on-site at the designated venue on the scheduled date. These presentations will follow the
traditional format and provide opportunities for direct interaction with the audience.
- The technical equipment used for the presentation (e.g., projector, computer) will be provided
by the congress organization committee.
- Authors can use the PowerPoint presentation templates provided below for oral presentations at
the congress.
- A brief Q&A session will follow each presentation. Please be prepared to answer questions. Each
oral presentation is allocated 10 minutes in total. After all presentations in a session are
completed, a 5-minute Q&A session will be held for each presentation.
- Please be present at the venue in advance to connect and test the devices.
2. Online Presentation (Virtual Participation)
Participants whose
abstracts/full papers are accepted but who are unable to attend the congress in person may
deliver their presentations via the designated online platform (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams) at the
time allocated to them during the congress dates.
- Online presentations will take place within the specified time slots on the designated online
platform.
- The participants shall provide the technical requirements necessary for the presentation, and
an internet connection and a suitable environment must be ensured.
- Prior to the presentation, participants should log into the online platform and conduct a
connection test.
- The presentation time for online participation is also 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute Q&A
session.
- Please ensure that your audio, video, and internet connection are stable during the
presentation.
3. Pre-Recorded Presentation (Video Submission)
Participants whose
abstracts/full papers have been accepted and who prefer to submit a video recording of their
presentations may record their presentations in advance and submit them to the congress
organization committee. The submitted videos will be made available for viewing on the day of
the congress.
- The video presentation should not exceed 10 minutes. The video file must be in an acceptable
format (e.g., mp4, avi).
- The video should have sufficient sound and image quality. We recommend recording in a well-lit
environment for better visibility.
- Both the author and the presenter should appear throughout the video recording.
- Videos must be submitted to the congress organization committee by March 27, 2026. Late
submissions will not be accepted.
- The video recording should be sent to the email addresses [email protected] and
[email protected] (via a link, email attachment, or in an appropriate way)
- Further details on video submissions (e.g., file size, submission platform) will be provided
by the organization committee.
Post-Congress Question Submission:
- Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speakers who have presented
pre-recorded videos via email at [email protected] after the congress. Questions must be
relevant to the content of the video presentation.
- The deadline for submitting questions is April 16, 2026. Questions submitted after this date
will not be considered.
- Participants delivering pre-record presentations are expected to respond to questions in
writing. The responses will be shared with the attendeses members who submitted the questions via
email by 16 April 2026, with the email address [email protected] included.

electronically prepared congress proceedings book. Authors are required to formally notify the
organization committee of their preferred publication option.
